DMCRN & FSHD CE Training Registration

September 24, 2026

This registration page is for the Clinical Evaluator Training that will be hosted for DMCRN (North American sites only) and FSHD teams at UT Health Science Center at San Antonio on Thursday, September 24th, 2026. Please complete registration by Thursday July 10th.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is there a virtual option this year for attendance?

               No.

Where should I book my hotel?

The networks are looking to identify a recommended hotel that may provide a block with a discount code for CE training attendees. Once confirmed, it will be routed promptly via email.

How many or which networks do I select in registration?

Please select all networks for which you are a member of for which you plan to complete training on Thursday, September 24th. If you don’t know which networks you’re in, consult with your PI.

How many CEs per site can attend?

Similar to year past, only 1 CE per site but if your site is both in the DMCRN and FSHD, then 2 can attend.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If 2 are attending, while you select both networks in registration, consult each other so each CE writes a different network in the comments section through which you’ll do reimbursement. FSHD can reimburse institutions, but DMCRN can only reimburse individuals. So before booking flights or hotels, make sure to have that straightened out to ensure you are able to get reimbursed properly. Neither network can reimburse both CEs.

Are we required to attend NMSG after the CE training is over?

No, you are not required to attend NMSG.

Will you pay for us to attend NMSG or any associated expenses with attendance?

No, if you attend NMSG that will be your responsibility to pay for.

Note: The DMCRN CE Training is only for evaluators at North American sites (USA and Canada), but if you are a non-U.S. DMCRN evaluator that is already attending for FSHD, you can stay and attend the training in the afternoon if you choose to. It is not required.
